We process the aluminium structures and all fabrics for our Ecotent® pop up gazebos in our two production facilities in Italy and Romania.

The roof

VELCRO FASTENERS:
Additional, adjustable Velcro fasteners at the corners ensure an evenly stretched roof. The advantages? Your logo is always clearly visible, water will not accumulate on the roof and the appearance of your pop up gazebo is always professional.
COLOURED VELCRO:
Get an E1 or E2 pop up gazebo and we'll match the Velcro to the colour of the roof. A visual detail that is sometimes underestimated.
ROOF REINFORCEMENT:
With the aim of constantly increasing the longevity of our pop up gazebos, we have equipped all gazebo roofs with 500D Oxford reinforcements where the frame structure comes into contact with the textile. In this way, wear and tear is counteracted. The colour of these reinforcements is matched to that of the roof.
THREADS AND BOARDERS IN MATCHING COLOURS:
For a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing result, all borders and seams of the pop up gazebo have the same colour.

Technical details of our textiles

Our products are made of resistant fabrics with excellent technical properties. Our experienced seamstresses and tailors transform the fabrics into roofs that offer reliable protection for any occasion.

Water column up to 2,000 mm

100 % waterproof fabrics

Our textiles have been tested according to the European standard EN 20811, which determines the water resistance of our canopy tents under hydrostatic pressure. Ecotent’s result: Our canopy tent fabrics are 100% waterproof, ensuring that you remain dry no matter the location.

Oxford 500D and 250D

Fire-retardant textiles

Our Oxford 500D and Oxford 250D textiles have been tested and certified for fire resistance by the renowned institute Efectis Nederland BV. In accordance with the European standard EN 13501-1:2018, they have been assigned to the fire protection class B - s1, d0 and are therefore considered flame retardant.

Why is this important?
In order to be allowed to set up a pop up gazebo at certain events, especially public events, organisers usually require a certificate proving the fire resistance of the textiles, and this is exactly what you get when you buy an Ecotent® pop up gazebo. Of course, direct contact with open flames must always be avoided.

UFP 50+

Textiles with UV protection

Ultraviolet rays can not only be uncomfortable because of the heat, they can also be extremely harmful to your health and seriously damage your products. Our textiles for pop up gazebos have a UV protection value of UPF 50+, the highest achievable value on the scale. This guarantees that you, your customers and your products will always be protected from ultraviolet rays! Of course we had this tested and our textiles passed this test with ease.

Long lasting colours

Lightfast colours

When we talk about the durability of our pop up gazebos, we also refer to the colour fastness of the textiles. In accordance with the European standards DIN EN ISO 105-B02 and DIN EN ISO 105-A02, our textiles have been given a blue scale of 4.5-6.5 out of a maximum of 8 and a grey scale of 3.5 out of a maximum of 5 marks. These standards specify a test method for determining the colour resistance of textiles of all types and in all states of processing. They are tested under artificial light conditions corresponding to natural daylight. Our textiles passed with flying colours even in prolonged sunlight.

European certificates of conformity and safety

All our textiles have been tested and certified for the most important conformity and safety certificates in Europe:

All pop up gazebos are TÜV-certified (product certification).
All materials used in the production of the pop up gazebos are REACH-compliant.

Further tests have been carried out by independent international bodies to prove the sustainability of our recycled fabric:

Our “Recycling” fabric has been certified according to the applicable Global Recycled Standard by Control Union.

Our sewing department turns the fabric leftovers generated during the gazebo production into stylish drawstring bags to recycle the material and reduce waste as much as possible. Everyone who buys an Ecotent® pop up gazebo gets one for free!

Light, stable and corrosion-resistant

The aluminium structure

RUBBER CAPS:
Why should a pop up gazebo have them? The rubber caps protect the hinged poles as well as the roof from damage during transport and use. Everything to make your pop up gazebo last longer!
RIPPED SQUARE ALUMINIUM PROFILE:
High stability with low weight. Aluminium is lightweight, but that doesn't mean it isn't strong! The ribbed square profile gives your pop up gazebo great stability.
FOOT PLATE:
The rectangular foot plates of our pop up gazebos, which are made of either galvanised steel or aluminium depending on the series, allow the pop up gazebo to stand firmly on the ground, whatever the surface.
CORNER CLIP (E1):
The corner clips attached to the corner posts of the pop up gazebo allow the roof to be hooked in and thus maintaining the optimum tension of the textile at all times. In addition, this way your gazebo will have a more professional overall appearance and all logos and letterings on the valances are always clearly visible.
STRONG ALUMINIUM PROFILES
The tent legs of our E1 folding gazebos measure 46 x 56.5 mm and have a wall thickness of 2.5 mm. The hinged poles and other elements of the E1 structure measure 30x15 mm and are 2.8 mm thick, making them extremely robust.

We only use anodised 6060 aluminium from Italy and process it directly at our site in South Tyrol (IT). This special aluminium alloy has a very high corrosion resistance, is easy to weld and, thanks to the anodising process, has a very modern matt look as well as additional protection against external influences.

Details ABOUT THE SET-UP

PUSH BUTTON:
What is this red button on the corner posts for? It helps you to dismantle the pop up gazebo effortlessly after use without the risk of jamming your fingers. Press it lightly and the corner slider is unlocked and the tent can be closed.
PLASTIC GLIDES:
Against scratches and for easy operation. All moving parts of the aluminium structure (E1, E2) have plastic glides, counteracting friction and thus facilitating assembly and disassembly.
EASY SET-UP MECHANISM:
Our easy set-up mechanism consists in a spring bolt integrated in the aluminium profile, which makes it easier to set up the pop up gazebo. Simply press it and the tent leg can be extended without any effort.
HEIGHT ADJUSTABILITY:
The height of our E1 and E2 pop up gazebos can be adjusted by 2 or 3 levels to make the tents as adaptable as possible to any use. This feature is particularly useful if the pop up gazebo needs to be erected on sloping terrain or if there are height restrictions.
BOLT SYSTEM:
We do not use screws that could come loose over time, but a patented bolt system that connects individual parts of the aluminium structure. This useful system is a big advantage also in case a piece gets damaged, since it allows you to replace any spare part without tools.
